Where is my Genshin Impact UID?
On the game screen: Genshin Impact shows your UID in the lower-right corner while you play, and on your in-game profile. It is a nine-digit number tied to one server, such as America, Europe or Asia. How do I find my UID and server?
These steps describe what stays the same across game updates.
Start the game
Log in to the account you want to top up and enter the world.
Read the corner of the screen
Your UID appears in small text in the lower-right corner. It is also shown on your profile.
Note your server
The server is the one you chose when you logged in: America, Europe, Asia or TW, HK, MO.
Copy the UID carefully
Type the nine digits into the top-up form and compare them with the screen before you pay.
How can I tell my server from the UID?
By its first digit, as a cross-check. Players report that UIDs on the America server start with 6, on Europe with 7 and on Asia with 8. HoYoverse does not present this as a rule on its pages, so trust the server you chose at login when the two disagree.
The server matters because the same UID can exist on several servers as different accounts. A top-up sent to the right number on the wrong server reaches someone else or fails.
Is my Genshin UID valid in Honkai: Star Rail or Zenless Zone Zero?
No. One HoYoverse login can hold accounts in several games, but each game gives its account its own UID. A Genshin UID typed into a Honkai: Star Rail or Zenless Zone Zero order does not match your account there.
Copy the UID from inside the game you are topping up. On CryptoGameTopUp the Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero pages have their own forms.
What happens with a wrong UID?
If no account matches, the top-up fails; on CryptoGameTopUp, If a top-up cannot be completed, its full amount goes back to your balance. If the UID belongs to another player on that server, the crystals arrive on their account. A top-up credited to the ID you entered cannot be taken back, so check the ID before you pay.
HoYoverse's terms also describe purchases as “non-refundable and non-transferable” (Cognosphere terms, §8(f)), so crystals cannot be moved between accounts once credited. When the game allows it, the checkout shows the player name linked to the ID before you pay, so a typo is caught in time.
Is sharing my UID safe?
Your UID is public in normal play: other players see it in co-op and on your profile. It lets a seller credit your account; it does not let anyone log in. Keep your password, login codes and recovery email private. We will never ask for your game password, your login code or your account recovery email: a top-up needs only your player ID.
The source of the crystals is the real risk. Cognosphere's terms list “use of any unapproved payment methods” as a violation, which is why CryptoGameTopUp uses only channels HoYoverse approves.

Can I change my Genshin UID?
The UID belongs to the account on its server. A new account on another server has a different UID.
Do I need my HoYoverse account email?
Not for a top-up on CryptoGameTopUp. A top-up needs only the player ID the game shows, plus the zone or server when the game uses one: never your game password or a login code.
My UID has a different first digit from the server I picked. What now?
Check which server you log in to before paying, and contact [email protected] if you are unsure.
