What do you need to top up my Genshin account?

Your UID and the server your account plays on. A top-up needs only the player ID the game shows, plus the zone or server when the game uses one: never your game password or a login code.

The UID is a nine-digit number tied to one server, so the same number on another server is a different account. Pick America, Europe or Asia (or the TW, HK, MO server) to match where you play. When the game allows it, the checkout shows the player name linked to the ID before you pay, so a typo is caught in time.

We will never ask for your game password, your login code or your account recovery email: a top-up needs only your player ID. A HoYoverse account password is never part of a top-up.

Where do I find my UID?

On the game screen. Genshin Impact shows your UID in the lower-right corner while you play, and it also appears on your in-game profile.

The first digit is a useful check: players report that UIDs on the America server start with 6, Europe with 7 and Asia with 8. If the digit and the server you picked do not match, check again before you pay. The UID guide explains it step by step.

What is the Blessing of the Welkin Moon?

A 30-day pass sold by HoYoverse inside Genshin Impact. Buying it gives a batch of Genesis Crystals at once and a daily Primogem reward while the pass runs; the game shows the exact amounts and the remaining days.

Does HoYoverse allow top-ups from other sellers?

Only through payment channels it approves. Cognosphere, which publishes HoYoverse games outside mainland China, lists “use of any unapproved payment methods” as a violation in its terms (Tears of Themis edition, last updated 28 May 2025). We could not read Genshin Impact's own terms page as text on 22 October 2026, so we assume the same rule applies.

That rule is the reason we do not buy crystals on the grey market. We top up only through channels each publisher authorizes, such as official distributors and publisher stores. When do the crystals arrive, and what if it fails?

The top-up is sent once your payment is confirmed on the blockchain, and it appears in the game when the publisher credits it. Crystals usually appear after you reopen the game or the in-game shop.

• Failed or refused: If a top-up cannot be completed, its full amount goes back to your balance.
• Wrong UID or server: A top-up credited to the ID you entered cannot be taken back, so check the ID before you pay.
• Missing after a restart: write to [email protected] with your order number. Support answers by email within 12 hours, every day, and checks any top-up that has not arrived.
